Welcome to the Richland Community College Foundation Opportunities (Scholarships) information page.

The Summer/Fall 2026 scholarship application is now open. The deadline for Summer is May 1, 2026. The Early Consideration deadline for Fall is June 15. Applications will continue to be accepted after the early consideration deadline as long as funding remains available.

Eligibility for scholarships cannot be determined until the FAFSA is submitted to Richland and students are registered for classes.

Complete the General Application. Almost all of our scholarships are auto-match, which means you just need to complete the General Application to be considered for those scholarships. Some scholarships do require additional questions to apply – if you meet the initial eligibility requirements, you will be prompted to apply for those under Recommended Opportunities.

Before you start:

1. New students: To apply for a scholarship, you must be enrolled in the College and have activated your Richland e-mail account. Make sure your transcript is sent to Richland to be considered for scholarships.

2. It is best not to use Internet Explorer as your browser. Switch to any of the newer browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari.

3. Sign in with your Richland email and password.

If selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified via your Richland Outlook student email account.

Your application status will show on your “My Applications” tab.
If your status is not listed as “submitted”, you have not fully completed your application.
Log back in to see what is missing.

If you are selected to receive a scholarship:

• You will receive a preliminary offer sent to your Richland student email.

• Post-Acceptance process must be completed before awarding will occur.
