Dell and Evelyn Carroll Scholarship

Scholarship for standard tuition (unless only offered online) for up to 60 credit hours awarded to students attending Richland Community College who are graduates of Meridian High School. Students must be enrolled the semester immediately following their high school graduation and remain continually enrolled. The scholarship covers classes that could lead to the completion of a degree or certificate. Pell awards are applied before scholarship. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time. Recipients must have a 2.0 high school GPA and maintain a 2.5 GPA at Richland to be eligible for the scholarship in subsequent semesters. (This criteria begins with students who start Richland as a college student in the Fall 2016 Semester.) Student must pay for any classes covered by the scholarship that are dropped or withdrawn. Developmental classes may be covered. There is no minimum hour per semester requirement. Student must not be receiving full federal gift aid. Scholarship does not cover the Summer semester.
