Clarence Taylor Early Bird Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to a student with a proven need who is pursuing a degree in education and planning to become a teacher. Students must be graduates of Douglas MacArthur High School or if DMHS no longer exists, students must be a graduate of any high school in the city of Decatur. Scholarship covers tuition, books, or required learning resources. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarship would be need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence.
