- The goal of the Grow Your Own (GYO) program at Richland Community College is to strengthen the teacher pipeline, focusing on supporting homegrown, diverse candidates for teaching careers in our local community. The benefits of admission into the GYO program include: a scholarship to cover tuition, fees, books and supplies; stipend; and paid summer internship with DPS #61. GYO students are required to maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, participate in professional development opportunities, and attend monthly meetings. Do you agree to the requirements of the program?
