Earl Tyus, Jr. Decatur Frontiers Service Club Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students with demonstrated financial need who are graduates of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarships would be need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence. The annual award is to be used to pay for tuition, academic textbooks, and/or required learning resources. The award is to be given to qualified students at any semester level at Richland Community College who are pursuing a degree.
