Retired DPD Deputy Chief S. Jason Walker Scholarship
Scholarship for a student attending Richland the semester following high school graduation, majoring in AAS Criminal Justice. Preference to students interested in becoming a police officer, demonstrate financial need, and/or those with a family member who was, or is currently a sworn law enforcement officer. Students may be enrolled part-time if also working part-time. Scholarship is renewable for the Spring semester. Students are generally limited to one year of eligibility, however, if there are no qualified applicants for the next incoming school year, prior awarded students may be offered the scholarship again as long as they continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
