Requirements for a female recipient for an American Association of University Women Scholarship:
1. Applicants must have completed at least one year of coursework at Richland (at least 24 credit hours).
2. Applicants must be currently enrolled for at least 6 semester hours of credit (half-time).
3. Applicants must be in good academic standing (at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA on 4.0 scale).

Guidelines and criteria
1. Financial need based upon the applicant’s personal and family resources
2. Academic record (an official transcript must be attached to the application)
3. Extracurricular and volunteer activities
4. Statement of educational and career objectives and future goals

At least one scholarship of at least $500 will be given to a female student at Richland Community College for the school year 2025-2026.
