Decatur Memorial Hospital Scholarships

Through the generosity of long-standing community donors, physicians, volunteers, and local leaders, DMF is proud to invest in students who demonstrate academic commitment and a desire to build careers that serve and sustain our region.

2026 Scholarship Opportunities include:

• DMH Auxiliary Scholarships – Three awards of $5,000 each for students entering healthcare support professions, including but not limited to nursing, radiologic technology, laboratory technology, pharmacy technology, and phlebotomy
• Dr. Richard H. Fritz Nursing Scholarship – One $5,000 scholarship awarded to a student pursuing a nursing degree
• Dr. Thomas W. Samuels Nursing Scholarship – One $2,500 scholarship for a student pursuing nursing, including those enrolled at Richland Community College
• DMF Agriculture Scholarships – Two awards of $5,000 each for students pursuing agricultural studies at either a two- or four-year institution
