Everett Ryan Early Bird Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students with a proven need who are pursuing a degree in education and are planning to become a teacher. Students must be graduates of Douglas MacArthur High School or if DMHS no longer exists, students must be a graduate of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarship is need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence. Students must be pursuing a degree. Scholarship covers tuition, books, and/or required learning resources.
